Assignment 1 - Diptych
"Organic Growth" By: Kort Woycheshin For the diptych, I used a Sony A7IV, 85mm f1.8 lens, and a tripod to take these photos. These photos are located in a small wetland near the university that gave for very interesting organic growth. I wanted to respond to "I/You" by placing myself in the field similar to a tree and to resemble the growing stages of my life that I am currently going through. The sun was shining through another section of trees which gave the tree a very pleasing glow to it and I wanted to juxtapose that by wearing all black. I wanted both of these photos to be centre framed to try and give the viewer a sense of similarity and belonging when viewing the photos side by side. The contrast between these two images is meant to show growth happens in different ways and at different stages.
